The Right Now - Concert Review & Interview - Philadelphia, PA April 24th, 2012

Root Down In The Shadow recently caught up with Stefanie Berecz of The Right Now , taking the opportunity to learn more about this intriguing band before their set at World Cafe Live! Here are some excerpts from that conversation! Root Down In The Shadow:  Who's a bigger inspiration for you, Sharon Jones (of Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings) or Charles Bradley (of Charles Bradley & Menahan Street Band)? Stefanie Berecz:  It's got to be Sharon Jones and her never give up attitude! RDITS:  What came first your sound or the band? the marquee @ Tower Theatre Time for an update on the ol' concert calendar.   As always I look at who's coming from Boston to DC.  I've managed to hit Baltimore and Philly so far this season, adding Lancaster tonight & Boston this Sunday.  But as always I wanted to share my finds!  Hopefully you can find your town on the list as well. I've taken the liberty of highlighting shows I'd go see if I had the freedom and time to travel more!!   CLUTCH - Tonight I head to Lancaster to catch one of my all time favorite bands back in action.  I haven't see Clutch in over 10 years.  But I don't anticipate their intensity diminishing in anyway. Take a look at these tour dates for Clutch and many other bands coming through Philly in the 2nd half of April.  It is a really, really great time to see a band right now.  If you aren't going to a show in April or May this year, something is wrong!!!  Bands are everywhere right now!!
