LIMITED TIME ONLY - Florence + The Machine full live concert video until 6-28

Check out npr.org for a limited time full video viewing of the 2010 Live @ the Wiltern concert. I can't tell you much about it yet, as I am watching it for the first time myself. They come out swinging though with 'Howl'.  Wow, I didn't realize how intense they are live! And if you some how missed the recent post, check out the Molly Song of the week

Molly Song of the Week - Claude Jones by Pokey LaFarge and the South City Three

After the recommendation from a dear friend last summer, I first heard the joyous sound of Pokey LaFarge and the South City Three.    Pokey LaFarge and the South City Three - La La Blues I thoroughly enjoyed the video, but hadn't found the time to listen to more. Unexpectedly to me, the band had been gaining steam.  On Feb 1, David Wax Museum was featured as the Today's Top Tune by KRCW .  Also, my friend was so confident that I would enjoy the band, he picked up a copy of the band's new disc Everything is Saved specifically for me.  When I received the disc from my friend Matt, it was perfectly timed with the start of this new blog. Naturally, I had decided after I would give it a listen, that it could be future "Recommedned to Me" post.  I was surprised how much I really liked the band.  I had placed it into a playlist of music obtained all in the same night.  I was determined to give a complete listen t...
