I wrote a few days ago, about a bunch of free music that I had been aware of.

Here's some more that I picked up since then:
Amazon's Artist's on The Rise features Blind Pilot's new single 'Keep You Right, Luke Temple 'Ophelia', and Nikki Jean covering Dylan with 'Steal and Feathers (Don't Ever).

CMJ to whom I owe my deeper thirst for new music, has a new compilation out for September. It contains frequent freebie the newest Blitzen Trapper gem, 'Love the Way You Walk Away'. Also on the compilation are Stepdad's 'My Leather, My Fur, My Nails.

Sleeper Agent 'Get It Daddy'

For those of you not paying attention to the iTunes free songs of the week, or my Free music posts (Spin August 2011) you missed a great freebie. Fortunately their single is still available as a free download (found on their site sleeperagentmusic.com. I'm hoping to catch more of their new album before making any other judgements. This is a relatively new band, so we'll see what the album has to offer.

Wooo Hooooo It's XPoNential Fest Time!!!! Every year WXPN brings a ton of great bands and artists to the Wiggins Park shore in Camden, NJ. With so many bands on the line-up it's daunting to figure out which bands to see. Fortunately, the way WXPN does the line-ups you CAN make it to every band should you choose. However, we all know it's going to be hot as hell. Not quite as hot as 2011 with the 100 degree days, but still super hot.
